On May 13, the first driving test for the new light trailer driving license (C6) in Anhui Province commenced successfully at the New Asia Examination Center of the Hefei Public Security Bureau Traffic Police Brigade. As the contractor for the new C6 system at the New Asia Examination Center, Sanlian Traffic was responsible for software deployment and debugging, providing comprehensive support for this first C6 examination in the province.
The newly revised “Regulations on the Application and Use of Motor Vehicle Driver Licenses” (Ministry of Public Security Order No. 162) officially took effect on April 1, introducing the light trailer driving license (C6) to better meet the public’s demand for driving recreational vehicles and to promote the development of the RV tourism industry. In response to the requirements of the new ministry order, the company’s leadership prioritized this initiative, arranging thorough planning and execution. Development personnel worked tirelessly to successfully create the new generation SL2306Ⅱ-C6 examination system, which was the first in the industry to pass authoritative testing by the Ministry of Public Security. To ensure the successful launch of the first C6 examination in Anhui, the company’s operations and technical support team remained on-site throughout the day, fully dedicated to system debugging and ensuring smooth operation.
On the morning of the exam, leaders from the Anhui Provincial Traffic Police Corps and the Hefei Public Security Bureau Traffic Police Brigade, accompanied by Chairman Wang Jiangbo and General Manager Jin Ping of the company, visited the New Asia Examination Center to inspect and coordinate the examination activities.
As the first C6 examination in Anhui, this event attracted significant media coverage from various mainstream outlets in the province. On the first day of the examination, five candidates participated, with the oldest nearing 60 years of age and the youngest being a member of the “post-90s” generation; most other candidates were in their “80s.” The first candidate, Ms. Zhang, expressed her excitement after completing the Subject 2 examination, noting that as the first C6 test taker in Anhui, she is an avid traveler who prefers towable RVs over integrated motorhomes, which motivated her to pursue the C6 driving test., having passed the Subject 2 examination, proceeded to the Hefei Binhu Vehicle Management Office to take the Subject 3 safety and civilized examination, successfully obtaining their C6 driver’s licenses.
The successful launch of Anhui’s first C6 examination once again demonstrated the efficient teamwork and outstanding technical support capabilities across Sanlian Traffic’s research, sales, and engineering systems. Moving forward, the company will leverage the full implementation of the new ministry order to further optimize and upgrade its examination systems, continually enhancing installation and operational service quality to robustly support the development of high-quality vehicle and driver management services.
