Recently, the Anhui Provincial Government announced the decision regarding the “2022 Anhui Provincial Scientific and Technological Awards.” Our project, “Life Rescue Safety Assurance System and Key Technologies for Transport Vehicles,” was awarded the “Third Prize in the 2022 Anhui Provincial Scientific and Technological Award.”

The main achievements of the “Life Rescue Safety Assurance System and Key Technologies for Transport Vehicles” project include the creation of a “three-level rescue” full-cycle risk probability model and life rescue safety assurance system, which overall achieves automation of information perception, intelligent rescue decision-making, and collaborative injury control. The project also includes the invention of automatic alarm technology for transport vehicle collision accidents, filling a gap in the automatic alarm technology and devices for transport vehicle accidents in China; the development of flexible expansion/relocation rescue technology for confined spaces, reducing secondary injuries caused by traditional rescue methods; and the invention of an integrated bed-chair robot and rehabilitation training technology, achieving intelligent special care and refined training, thereby minimizing disabilities.

Supported by national programs such as “863”, scientific research funding, and the Natural Science Foundation, the project has been developed over more than a decade of collaborative efforts, resulting in 41 invention patents, 36 papers, and 3 publications, along with the development of 21 sets of equipment. The project has established a life rescue safety assurance system and key technologies for transport vehicles that encompass theoretical models, technical methods, and engineering applications. The relevant achievements have been reported twice by the American journal Science, reaching an overall international leading level. In the past three years, the project has generated significant direct economic benefits, achieving over 95% coverage for rapid accident rescue within 30 minutes in applied regions and reducing average fatalities and disabilities by 15%. This has enabled a significant leap in life rescue safety assurance technology for transport vehicles in China, providing strong technical support for “Transportation Power” and “Healthy China.”
