On October 22, the highly anticipated “Summit Forum on Intelligent Transportation and Innovative Development of Vehicle Networking” and the Annual Meeting of the China Intelligent Transportation Management Industry Alliance took place in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province. This significant event was co-hosted by the Wuxi Municipal Government, the China Intelligent Transportation Management Industry Alliance, the National Road Traffic Management Engineering Technology Research Center, and the National Engineering Laboratory for Road Traffic Integrated Optimization and Safety Analysis. Key industry leaders attended, including Li Wei, Deputy Director of the Traffic Management Bureau of the Ministry of Public Security; Wang Changjun, Director of the Traffic Safety Research Center of the Ministry of Public Security; and Sun Zhengliang, Director of the Traffic Management Science Research Institute of the Ministry of Public Security.
As a leading technological enterprise in the industry and an important member of the alliance, General Manager Wang Jiangbo led a delegation from Sanlian Traffic to the forum, joined by Vice General Managers Luo Wenqi and Wu Yuesong, as well as Assistant General Managers Yang Xiaodong, Hu Sen, Zhang Congxi, and Zhang Yan. During the event, they utilized this important platform to engage in in-depth discussions with industry leaders and experts, sharing recent advancements in the application of artificial intelligence and autonomous driving evaluation technologies. Together, they envisioned the promising future of intelligent transportation and vehicle networking, fostering broad consensus and achieving fruitful outcomes.
The theme of this summit forum was “Standards Lead, Safe Vehicle Connectivity.” Over the course of two days, more than 400 renowned experts and entrepreneurs from the domestic and international vehicle networking industry gathered to discuss new models and paths for intelligent transportation and vehicle networking development. Notable speakers included Professor Chen Junlong from South China University of Technology, Academician Zhang Yan from the Royal Norwegian Academy of Sciences and Letters, and many other leaders from various provincial and municipal public security traffic systems, as well as representatives from leading enterprises such as China Mobile, FAW, Huawei, Inspur, Dahua, and Toyota. They delivered keynote speeches focusing on topics such as autonomous driving safety, intelligent transportation, digital integration, smart connectivity, and digital transformation, promoting consensus and future development.
